Attorney

Jorge Guardado joined Kermisch & Paletz LLP as an associate attorney in 2023. Jorge attended McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, achieving his Juris Doctor in 2014. Jorge worked for the Family Law Facilitator of Yolo County during law school, where he had the opportunity to aid litigants through their family law matters. After graduating law school, he practiced family law in the East Bay of Northern California. He represented a wide range of clients from Antioch to San Francisco, Napa to San Jose. He took the first opportunity he could to move back to the sunny beaches of Southern California.

He received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Liberal arts from Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, California. His degree focused on the scholastic philosophical traditions of Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, and Charles De Koninck. However, he took to heart Augustine’s instruction to take from all philosophical traditions whatever is true.

After a hard day’s work zealously advocating for his clients, Jorge enjoys playing guitar, riding his bike, hooping with the boys, or just lying on the beach. If his eyes are not tired from legal research, he loves reading books on history, especially on the topic of early modern European history, the Roman Civil war, or the American Civil Rights movement.
